TenStep offers a global project management certification program that is truly unique in the marketplace. The TenStep Project Management (TSPM™) certification requires a combination of experience, knowledge and demonstration. The certification is earned by attending and passing the TenStep Simulation class (PM50.00 or equivalent).

Experience. Candidates must be prequalified and must have demonstrated project management experience. This includes a minimum of: 

• Five (5) years of industry experience
• Three (3) years working on projects
• One (1) year in a leadership position on a project

The three criteria above are waived if you currently have a PMP® Certification from the Project Management Institute

• Knowledge. Demonstrated by passing a series of quizzes and a final test
• Demonstration. Each student must successfully demonstrate their project management skills by managing a test project with a small team. This project is either in the form of an advanced case study or an automated project using advanced simulation software.

The TSPM certification is based on the TenStep Project Management Process, which is fully aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK^®) Guide from PMI.

Each successful TSPM™ professional will also have licensed access to the world-class TenStep Project Management Process. You will need this project management process to help you successfully manage projects in your organization. This access can be granted through an individual license or as a member of a company license.

This approach reinforces the concepts and principles learned for effective project management. As a result, the students are more prepared to apply the methodology to real life situations.

Students that successfully pass the TSPM™ Simulation class will receive the TSPM™ certificate.
